Instant.ro, Romania’s first AI platform for instant car valuation and trading, partnered with Footprints AI to boost user acquisition while significantly lowering the costs.

- Challenge: Instant.ro aimed to increase its user base and looking to lower its User Acquisition Cost at a target cost of €5.5 per user, from an average of €8.5 per user as driven by their current Search & Social Media investment. To meet these goals, they collaborated with Footprints Al's retail media services, deploying a three-phase strategy, focusing on new user signups and driving engagement.
- Solution: Footprints AI implemented a six-week omnichannel retail media campaign through Profi, Romania’s largest retail network. Using geolocation, consumer profiling, and AI-generated recommendations, the campaign targeted urban individuals aged 30-45 with above-average incomes. Dynamic ads were delivered via in-store screens, radio, kiosks, and online platforms, creating a seamless path-to-purchase experience.
- Results: The campaign achieved outstanding results, driving 882,000 new website visits and acquiring users at an average cost of €0.56 per user, 10 times lower than the initial target. Additionally, it generated 1,350 sales-qualified leads at half the cost of leads from Google or Facebook.
